As a fan of the content creator and YouTube channel RDCworld1, and of basketball, I took the opportunity to create a concept jersey that could be used for their next appearance in Creator League’s basketball-related content. For context, Creator League is a league that hosts various sports events for content creators, and RDCworld1 competes in basketball games in this league through their basketball team, Dream Team.

As for how this jersey came to life, a big part of the design was inspired by the Dream Con (a premier entertainment convention) logo, and I wanted to ensure that elements of the Dream Con logo (such as the use of clouds) were incorporated into the design. I also referenced earlier Creator League basketball jersey designs to help me get started with brainstorming and with initiating the preliminary stages of the project. Going further into the design, the font used in the jersey is meant to capture the spirit and meaning behind the message of the Dream Con branding, and the message of RDCworld1, which goes by, “Real dreamers change the world.”

In short, I’m hoping that elements of this jersey could be incorporated into the new official Dream Team jersey that makes its debut appearance, and I am proud to say that this jersey is one of my favorite projects I have had the pleasure of doing.
